RE: Insurance-from GMAC to AARP/HARTFORD
Got a quote from AARPI called AARP and they said that they Do Not deal in motorhome coverage.
I made a call to AARP last year and they told me the same thing. They do not sell insurance on motorhomes, so I went with Farmers.
To those of you who have AARP coverage, please provide a contact so the rest of us will have a chance to save much needed $$$$!
Call back and ask to speak to someone else..."they" told me that once,
"they" do not know what they are talking about.
I also saved $99 by dropping good sams

It's a toss-up. Both I5 and 99 are about the same in all regards and 99 merges with I5 at Sacramento for the rest of your trip to Redding.:h
99 merges with 5 for about 10 mi. in Sac and then splits off to go through Yuba City...Chico...and other small towns!

Maveric got it ALMOST right. The new jeeps no longer have an unlock position. You must disconnect the batt. OR better yet jeep was kind enough to put something called an "IOD fuse" that has an easy pull disconnector. You can find a picture of it somewhere in this thread...

Well the heat and humidity here in the northwest has hit and they are saying that there is a heat index of 100. The air is heavier then we are used to but all and all it is not to bad. Today is gonna be a kick back day......

Good Morning ya'll... Today should be interesting. Shelia now that we live in the Volunteer State she has decided to volunteer to cut the lawns. Of course I will be her back up. (No we have not got a riding lawn mower yet). This could be the straw that broke the camel's back and I may have one by next weekend... Hee hee hee
Be safe and remember why we have the holiday..Gee! that's nice. Mine needs cutting bad. I will put the coffee pot on.:B

Andy your right I sit corrected..... I still need help setting up my Alert Radio..... LoL
Lee, I don't what kind of radio you have, but you need to program in the SAME code for any county you want to be alerted for. Otherwise you will get all warnings in middle TN and southern KY.

Good Morning... Just to ease some minds (I know it did mine) Apparently (according to the Andy types of the world) We live in a terrain that tornado's do not like. I am told that the land layout is not not conducive to support them. I guess they go north and south of our location. Not to say it will not happen and we will always be prepared as best we can. But it did ease my mind (just a little) when I was told that. We have a central bathroom that we are going to set-up with the important stuff. Medicine, Cash, Water, etc... thanks for worrying though it is nice to know that we are loved and cared about. The Lord will prevail and take care of us in time....
Vince we got our Tax Rebate on the 2nd and we are going to a 32 inch Flat Screen T.V. and some Pot... LoL just kidding... Ok Ok Dick you can edit if you want...
AHHEM...I belive I told you that in a post on the last rally thread, when folks were giving you S!*& about the storms in west TN. wassa matter,you don't belive your own "personal" weatherman???:R

Transfer case in neutral, transmission in park, key in the "on" position. As for leaving the key in you can get a copy made, it will have no "chip" in it and will turn the ignition but won't start the Jeep

Susan and I just got back from Campendleton where we welcomed my Marine son Matt home from Iraq (two tours).
Now both Marine sons are done with their deployments ... glad that's over.
